SINOI starts production of the 2.5 MW rotor blade SI 50.3


SINOI GmbH starts production of the 2.5 MW rotor blade SI 50.3. The rotor blade was developed for wind turbines with an output of 2.5 MW. A further milestone was accomplished with the development of a rotor blade span of 50.3 m or a rotor diameter of 103 m. SINOI possesses a highly efficient product that is already suitable for the future challenges of the rapidly growing world-wide wind energy market.

A cooperation was agreed with “aerodyn Energiessysteme GmbH” for the rotor blade development of the “aero-Blade”. SINOI brings the expertise of mass production to the development of the “aeroBlade”. SINOI are available to aerodyn’s future licence partners as competent and reliable rotor blade manufacturers with experience in mass production, particularly in mould construction and training.

Through the “aeroBlade” concept SINOI has a product range of high-performance rotor blades in output categories 1.5 MW, 2.0 MW and 2.5 MW – respectively for the type categories 1, 2 and 3; so SINOI always has the “appropriate model”.
